Sports Illustrated Unveils 3 Swimsuit Issue Covers: Ashley Graham, Ronda Rousey, and Hailey Clauson

Sports Illustrated has officially turned a new page, not only releasing a trio of covers for its 2016 Swimsuit Issue, but highlighting three beautiful women of varying body types. Ashley Graham, Ronda Rousey, and Hailey Clauson each have their own individual — and completely gorgeous — cover.

“The three covers of Hailey, Ronda and Ashley celebrate the new SI Swimsuit,” the magazine’s assistant managing editor, MJ Day, said. “All three women are beautiful, sexy, and strong. Beauty is not cookie cutter. Beauty is not ‘one size fits all.’ Beauty is all around us and that became especially obvious to me while shooting and editing this year’s issue.”

Journalists Might Be Banned From Using Social Media During the 2014 Winter Olympics

This is definitely a first for major sporting events. According to the Washington Times, Russia is trying to ban the use of all social media by journalists covering the 2014 games in Sochi. 

The paper says the head of the state-run R-Sport news agency, Vasily Konov, was quoted stating: “Journalists using mobile phones to film athletes or spectators will be considered a serious violation and will result in cancellation of accreditation.”

“Organizers won’t be able to have any effect on normal spectators, but supporters will be banned from bringing reflex cameras and nonprofessional equipment to the competitions,” Mr. Konov said Friday at the National Forum, a training seminar for sports journalists in Sochi.

NFL Star Adrian Peterson’s ‘Secret’ Son, 2, Dies; Mother’s Boyfriend Charged

The 2-year-old son of NFL star Adrian Peterson has died of massive head injuries suffered in a brutal attack by his mother’s live-in boyfriend.

According to Peterson’s father, the deceased boy was not Adrian Jr., who is pictured above with his father. Nelson Peterson confirmed the boy was Adrian Peterson’s secret Love child who was born out of wedlock. Adrian also has a daughter, Adeja.

The boy died Friday at a South Dakota hospital, where he was admitted to the PICU in critical condition.

According to USA Today, Peterson’s son was allegedly beaten by 27-year-old Joseph Patterson. Patterson is being held on $750,000 bond on charges of aggravated felony assault and battery of an infant. The prosecutor’s office is considering additional charges against Patterson.

Peterson, 28, is a running back for the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings. In a press conference hours before the child died, Peterson said he planned to play in Sunday’s game against Carolina.
